The New Shelby GT500 comes with a supercharged 5.2-liter aluminum alloy engine built by and put together by hand. The inverted air-to-liquid intercooler delivers a 2.65-liter roots-type supercharger placed precisely in the V8 engine valley, this helps to maintain the intake air cooler and deliver a lower center of gravity.
